Clients & Testimonials

We have worked with hundreds of exhibitors, galleries and private clients over the past 35 years.

Harriet and David run the best and most friendly frame shop in London. They have been cutting window mounts for my Old Master Prints for the last 17 years and these works are then displayed at the annual London Original Print Fair which is held at the Royal Academy every spring. They also supply me with frames, new for modern works, and antique for housing special prints by artists such as Goya and Durer. Their work is much admired and I am always happy to refer my customers to them for any framing requirements.
— Christopher Mendez, www.oldmasterprints.co.uk
Pure & Applied have been framing my work for many years, and have always provided a superb service. Their stock of antique frames is endless, as is their good taste in matching work to custom-made frames. They are able to make frame profiles from scratch, and to match any finish. If I want the frame to look antique they are able to simulate that perfectly, and are just as happy recommending I opt for an elegant modern frame if they believe it would work better. Works of mine that are now in the permanent collections of the Metropolitan Museum in New York, Tate Gallery, London, and Pompidou Centre, Paris, have all been framed by Pure & Applied.
— Pablo Bronstein, Artist, London
