Historic, and now, fashionable Bermondsey Street has a fascinating past.  Get a flavour of this old, antiques area starting at 169; once an inn, a leather warehouse, a famous hat-makers, now our workshop. Discuss your framing requirements, pick up some ideas for your home or work interior. Learn a bit about the long and varied, local history from our large collection of maps and prints . On Friday get up a bit earlier and visit the Antiques Market or,  on Saturday, the  Farmers' Market in the newly developed square where foundations of the 11th century Bermondsey Abbey may be seen beneath a glass floor  in Del Aziz Restaurant next to Woolfson and Tay bookshop, cafe and gallery.  Visit The London Glassblowing Studio and Gallery, The Fashion and Textile museum, The Poussin Gallery in Bell Yard Mews and the vast, new White Cube gallery opposite  our workshop........Don't miss St Mary Magdalen church with its has a wonderful, late 17th century interior and the many, fascinating independent shops and boutiques,
wonderful pubs, bars, restaurants & cafes. In the evening take in  a film at our bijou cinema ,Shortwave, in Bermondsey Square.
